Cookie policy
Last updated: July 31, 2026
Offsoo B.V. ("Offsoo", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar techniques (together: "cookies") on its website and, where applicable, in its application. This cookie policy explains what cookies are, which categories of cookies we use, and how you can manage your cookie preferences.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on or read from your computer, tablet or smartphone when you visit a website. Cookies can be necessary for a website to function properly, to analyse how it is used, and to support marketing activities. Alongside cookies, Offsoo may use similar techniques such as local storage, pixels and tags.
Cookie management and consent
The website currently uses no consent management platform and shows no cookie banner. This means the analytical cookies and marketing pixels described below are placed as soon as the website is visited, without consent being requested first. Google Consent Mode defaults to granted.
Cookies can be managed and deleted through the settings of the browser being used. Every browser handles this slightly differently; the browser's own help pages explain how.
Important: we are aware that analytical and marketing cookies require consent in principle. Introducing a consent management platform is planned. Until it is in place, this page describes as precisely as possible what actually happens, so that an informed judgement remains possible.
Which categories of cookies do we use?
Necessary cookies (functional)
These cookies are needed for the website to function and to be secure, for example for:
- remembering cookie preferences;
- security and fraud prevention;
- basic functionality (navigation, forms).
Legal basis: necessary for the performance of the service / legitimate interest.
Preference cookies
These cookies remember settings and preferences (language or display preferences, for example).
Legal basis: consent (where placed).
Analytical cookies
These cookies help us understand how the website is used (visit statistics, for example) so that we can improve it.
Tooling we use:
- PostHog (EU cloud) - product analytics. Loaded from our own domain (
/ingest) and places a first-party cookie holding a visitor id, valid for one year by default. Alongside page views it records click behaviour, JavaScript errors and so-called dead clicks. - Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights - visit and performance statistics for the website. Places no cookies.
- Sentry - error tracking for the website (technical details of errors occurring in the browser).
Legal basis: consent (where required). See the note above about the absence of a cookie banner.
Marketing and tracking cookies
These cookies are used to follow visitors across websites and to make advertising more relevant. They may also be used to measure conversions.
Tooling we use:
- Google Ads
- Meta (Facebook)
- LinkedIn Ads
- Microsoft Ads (Bing)
- TikTok
These pixels load on the production website only, and only while the campaign concerned is running. Conversions are additionally forwarded server-side through PostHog, so that a conversion is still measured when a browser pixel is blocked.
Legal basis: consent. See the note above about the absence of a cookie banner.
Third-party cookies and transfers outside the EEA
Some cookies are placed by third parties. Depending on how they are set up, those third parties may process data outside the European Economic Area (EEA), for example in the United States.
Where there is a transfer outside the EEA, it takes place solely on the basis of a valid transfer mechanism, such as:
- an adequacy decision of the European Commission; and/or
- standard contractual clauses (SCCs); and/or
- the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF), where applicable.
More information about processing by third parties can be found in those parties' own privacy statements.
Cookies in the Offsoo application (SaaS)
The analytics and marketing tooling described above is used on the marketing website only, not inside the application.
The Offsoo application uses at least the technically necessary cookies and techniques for:
- authentication and session management;
- security;
- basic functionality.
No marketing cookies are placed in the application. Within the application, Offsoo may use support and stability tools (such as Intercom and error logging) to provide support and to secure and improve the service. Where those use cookies or similar techniques that are not strictly necessary, Offsoo will arrange this appropriately in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Cookie overview (Cookie Declaration)
The cookies the marketing website places:
ph_phc_…_posthog- PostHog, first-party, retained for one year. Holds a random visitor id that ties page views by the same visitor together.intercom-id-…,intercom-session-…,intercom-device-id-…- Intercom, placed as soon as the chat widget loads. Recognises a returning conversation.__cf_bm- Cloudflare, placed by the Calendly widget used to book demo appointments. Bot detection, retained for thirty minutes.
While an advertising campaign is running, the pixels concerned place cookies of their own as well (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, Microsoft and TikTok). Their names and retention periods are listed in those parties' own cookie declarations.
Vercel Web Analytics, Speed Insights and Sentry place no cookies.
Deleting cookies through your browser
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Bear in mind that the website may no longer work properly if you disable cookies.
Changes
Offsoo may amend this cookie policy, for example when legislation changes or when we use new cookies. The most recent version is always available on our website.
