Acceptable use policy
Last updated: January 1, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to use of the Offsoo Software and services. It supplements the Terms and Conditions. The Customer is responsible for how the Software is used by Users within their own organisation.
Prohibited use
The Software may not be used for:
- illegal activities or breaches of laws and regulations;
- distributing malware, spam or harmful content;
- infringing the intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
- carrying out (D)DoS attacks, brute forcing or other forms of abuse;
- circumventing security measures, rate limits or access limits;
- uploading extremely sensitive or special categories of personal data (medical data, for example) without an appropriate legal basis.
Use of accounts
Accounts are personal and may not be shared outside the Customer's organisation. The Customer is responsible for managing users and access rights.
Security and integrity
The Customer must take appropriate measures to prevent unauthorised access. Offsoo may take additional measures, including temporarily blocking accounts or IP addresses, in the event of (suspected) abuse.
Protection of data
Exporting, scraping or bulk-downloading data outside the functionality Offsoo provides for it is prohibited. Reverse engineering or disrupting Offsoo's data or systems is prohibited.
Service use and fair use
Offsoo applies fair-use limits to use of the Software. In the event of excessive use, Offsoo may take measures — including (partial) suspension — to prevent damage.
API and rate limits
Offsoo may apply rate limits and technical limits (for example 120 requests per minute per API key). Circumventing those limits or abusing API keys is prohibited. See also the API Terms. If limits are exceeded or abused, Offsoo may restrict or block access.
Enforcement
In the event of a (suspected) breach of this AUP, Offsoo may take measures such as temporary suspension, blocking accounts or terminating the Agreement, without being liable for any damage that results.
